OOC – RL Schedules and RP Events

I recently had an RP even scheduled on Sunday – July 1st for a wedding, the invitiations were sent out, the time was set and I had assumed that everything was going to go as plan. As one comedian once said “Lookin’ Gooood” and I was very excited because this particular wedding has been in the works for quite some time.

Unfortunately, RL decided to rear it’s ugly head about an hour before the event with a surprise “change in plans” for my spouses birthday. We had not made any specific plans at the time so I had felt comfortbable in scheduling my event – however, there was a sudden change of plans. I did contact as mnay people that were online as I could via Real ID and could only hope for the best. I really apologize for the inconvenience that this may have caused anyone and am totally embarrassed.

However, due to medical reasons, after that event – I haven’t been on-line at all, missing a raid that I was also looking forward too and rarely miss. Hopefully my team mates aren’t too terribly upset with me. Unfortunately, being an older player with health issues, there are times that I have to just call a screeching halt to everything and back off the game. It is extremely frustrating for me as a person and I don’t think that it has impacted on anyone else in the game until this past weekend, which I do humbly apologize.

I totally understand. I still remember the time I had to stop mid-raid because I was sick from chemo. =/

Hope everything is going better and that your husband had a happy birthday despite the problems after.

    • Still baddling with the vertigo as per usual and tried some of the new “ideas” that the doctor had , which I am going to promptly tell her to blow it out of her backside. WoW is not causing my vertigo.
